What is Pizza Verdura Sincera?
For some, a plant-sourced pizza is a matter of healthful eating.
For others, it’s about environmental sustainability or our views on the treatment of animals.
For all, it’s a delicious unforgettable meal served in the warm, inviting setting we all deserve.
HISTORY
Pizza Verdura Sincera was founded in 2021 by David Smith and Paul Jones, who are the principals of Trowbridge Partners, LLC, an Atlanta-based brand development and commercial real estate firm founded in 2003.
David and Paul, who love food, wine and travel, recognized the absence of high-quality plant-sourced pizza in both Atlanta and nationally. They also saw the incredible response to alternative meat offerings. With strong hospitality backgrounds, they embarked on creating a vegan pizza offering that would feel authentically Italian, be prepared from natural ingredients and be absolutely delicious.
The Meaning of Pizza Verdura Sincera
Pizza – flatbreads with various toppings, eaten for any meal and sold by street vendors, met the need for inexpensive food that could be consumed quickly in Italy for over a century.
Verdura – slang from Verdure, meaning “veg.” Our pizza is made entirely from plants with no meat or dairy, but only sumptuous textures and aromas, beautiful food and flavors that are delicious and unforgettable.
Sincera – describes our intentions…sincere. It is embodied in our use of all-natural ingredients that are sourced locally, organic, non-GMO or Kosher, our purpose to pay a fair wage to our employees and provide a transparent work culture. This sincerity has shaped the foundation for bringing a plant-sourced pizza that rivals the best pizza and places to work in Atlanta.
